Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer

Position: Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.

Experience: 2 to 5 years in Industry experience (Fertilizer/Petrochemical/oil and gas plants)

Software Proficiency: Proficient in CAD Tools such as AutoCAD, SPI-INTOOLS, AVEVA – E3D, and 3D Model review software.

Only Design Engineering profiles are accepted; Onsite/Field profiles are not considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Obtain and assimilate relevant design input from Lead Engineer and other project stakeholders, incorporating it into deliverables.
2. Ensure preparation of design deliverables in compliance with applicable Codes & Standards.
3. Coordinate promptly with other Engineering disciplines for seamless project integration.
4. Check and review all documents/drawings before release at any Revision status.
5. Assist lead in Work planning, progress monitoring, and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
6. Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and support departmental functions effectively.
7. Apply knowledge of standards, codes, engineering tools, and software in daily tasks.
8. Utilize instrument sizing software and analyze Piping/Civil Structural & other discipline drawings.
9. Select instrument hook-up standards for different types of Instruments.
10. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.

3. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities for resolving technical challenges.
4. Knowledge of instrument calibration, loop checking, and commissioning processes.
5. Understanding of safety standards and regulations related to instrumentation and control systems.
6. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
7. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
