- Maintaining Office Cleanliness: Regularly clean and maintain the office premises, including work areas, washrooms, and common areas. This includes dusting, sweeping, mopping, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
- Assisting with Office Tasks: Assist in photocopying, printing, scanning documents, and ensuring office equipment like printers and photocopiers are operational. Distribute mail and handle courier services.
- Supply Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of office supplies, such as stationery, pantry items, and other necessary materials. Replenish items when needed and ensure stock availability.
- Supporting Administrative Functions: Assist in basic administrative tasks, including filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records. Help in arranging meetings and managing office schedules as required.
- Handling Tasks: Run office-related errands, such as purchasing office supplies, food items, or other necessities required for the office. Occasionally assist in other external tasks as requested.
- Assistance in Basic Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues and assist in coordinating repairs if needed. This may involve contacting maintenance services and ensuring repairs are completed satisfactorily.
- Adhering to Health and Safety Standards: Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper waste disposal, handling of hazardous materials, and ensuring the office environment is safe and secure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 – 3 years experience in a similar role or willingness to learn office support tasks.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment operation (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
