Project Engineer

POSITION: Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in Industry experience, preferably in sectors like Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas plants.

Onsite/Field profiles are not considered.

Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Primavera, and MS Project for project planning and reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Study and understand project contract documents and correspondence to resolve any ambiguities or grey areas in the contract.
2. Prepare the Project Execution Plan, outlining objectives, priorities, directives, and constraints for the design of the plant and project coordination procedures.
3. Organize and manage the project team to ensure successful project completion, ensuring team members are familiar with the Project Execution Plan.
4. Review and analyze periodical progress reports for the client and internal stakeholders.
5. Control the flow of information between the company, clients, and other stakeholders.
6. Conduct regular Project Coordination Meetings with lead engineers and project teams.
7. Liaise with clients on project-related matters, including progress updates, document approvals, client obligations, and project milestones.
8. Obtain Completion/Acceptance Certificates from clients upon project completion.
9. Prepare and sign the Project Closure Report, documenting project outcomes and lessons learned.
10. Monitor and report project costs and work hours, taking preventive or corrective action as needed.
11. Utilize MS Office, Primavera, and MS Project for project management and reporting.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
3. Ability to lead and manage project teams, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
4. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to project management and engineering.
6. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
