Position: Proposal Engineer

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team. As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating project proposals, leveraging your proficiency in MS-Office. With a qualification in B.E (Mechanical) and 2-3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in supporting the proposal development process.


  1. Utilize your expertise in MS-Office to prepare high-quality project proposals, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client requirements.
  2. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and finance, to gather relevant information and create comprehensive proposals.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of client needs, project specifications, and industry trends to tailor proposals accordingly.
  4. Develop detailed cost estimates, considering labor, materials, and other project-related expenses.
  5. Prepare technical documentation, including scope of work, project timelines, and deliverables, in alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  6. Collaborate with the sales team to review and refine proposals, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
  7. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes, technical specifications, and other information required for proposal development.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of proposal activities, ensuring proper documentation and version control.
  9. Assist in the preparation of presentations, bid documents, and other supporting materials for proposal submissions.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to enhance proposal strategies and win rates.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E).
  2. 2-3 years of experience in proposal engineering or a related role.
  3. Proficiency in MS-Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  7. Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  8. Familiarity with technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects.
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
  10. Adherence to quality standards and attention to detail in proposal development.
  11. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
