Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As a Trainee Instrumentation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in various aspects of instrumentation engineering. With a qualification in B.E/B.Tech (E&I) and a basic understanding of I/O listing, cable scheduling, instrument data sheets, and hook-up drawings, this position is designed to provide you with valuable training and mentorship to kick-start your career in instrumentation engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in preparing I/O listing, cable schedules, instrument data sheets, and hook-up drawings for projects.
- Learn and apply instrumentation engineering principles, standards, and best practices to support project deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems and equipment.
- Gain exposure to industry software and tools used in instrumentation engineering, such as CAD software and instrumentation design tools.
- Support the testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
- Assist in conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for instrumentation projects.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with team members to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to instrumentation challenges.
- Learn and adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
- This position is suitable for fresh graduates.
- Basic knowledge of I/O listing, cable scheduling, instrument data sheets, and hook-up drawings.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in instrumentation engineering.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and software used in the field.
- Willingness to take direction, learn from experienced professionals, and apply feedback.
