Position: Trainee Instrumentation Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As a Trainee Instrumentation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in various aspects of instrumentation engineering. With a qualification in B.E/B.Tech (E&I) and a basic understanding of I/O listing, cable scheduling, instrument data sheets, and hook-up drawings, this position is designed to provide you with valuable training and mentorship to kick-start your career in instrumentation engineering.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist senior engineers in preparing I/O listing, cable schedules, instrument data sheets, and hook-up drawings for projects.
  2. Learn and apply instrumentation engineering principles, standards, and best practices to support project deliverables.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems and equipment.
  4. Gain exposure to industry software and tools used in instrumentation engineering, such as CAD software and instrumentation design tools.
  5. Support the testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
  6. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for instrumentation projects.
  7. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  8. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.
  9. Collaborate with team members to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to instrumentation challenges.
  10. Learn and adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
  2. This position is suitable for fresh graduates.
  3. Basic knowledge of I/O listing, cable scheduling, instrument data sheets, and hook-up drawings.
  4. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  8. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in instrumentation engineering.
  9. Ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and software used in the field.
  10. Willingness to take direction, learn from experienced professionals, and apply feedback.
