Job Title: Civil Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a qualified Civil & Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Civil & Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering projects within the Fertilizer, Petrochemical, and Oil and Gas plants industry. Your expertise in Tekla software, adherence to codes and standards, and effective coordination with other engineering disciplines and vendors will be crucial for successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize your 1 to 3 years of industry experience to obtain and assimilate relevant design input from the Lead Engineer and other project stakeholders.
2. Incorporate design input into deliverables, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
3. Prepare design deliverables with due consideration for relevant codes and standards.
4. Coordinate promptly with other engineering disciplines and engage in vendor interactions as required.
5. Thoroughly check and review all documents and drawings before releasing them at any revision status.
6. Prepare and check deliverables in accordance with the quality plan and ensure adherence to project schedules.
7. Assist the Lead Engineer in work planning, progress monitoring, and ensuring timely completion of engineering documents.
8. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project coordination.
9. Adhere to project schedules and contribute to the successful completion of assigned engineering tasks.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech.).
2. 1 to 3 years of industry experience in the Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas plants sector.
3. Knowledge and experience in using Tekla software for civil engineering projects.
4. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to civil engineering design.
5. Effective coordination and communication skills to work closely with other engineering disciplines and vendors.
6. Attention to detail and commitment to thoroughly checking and reviewing documents and drawings.
7. Ability to prepare and check deliverables according to the quality plan and adhere to project schedules.
8. Strong work planning and progress monitoring skills.
9. Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to contribute to process enhancements.
