Position: Civil & Structural Engineer

Job Description:

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. or M.E/M.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience: 2 to 5 years in civil and structural engineering (Industry experience in sectors like Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas plants preferred).

Software Proficiency: Proficient in software tools such as STAAD, MAT 3D, Tekla, and AutoCAD for structural analysis and design.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct structural analysis and design using software tools such as STAAD, MAT 3D, and Tekla.
2. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for civil and structural elements.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in civil and structural engineering.
4. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate civil and structural designs into overall project plans.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess construction progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
6. Review and approve technical documentation prepared by junior engineers or draftsmen.
7. Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve engineering issues.
8. Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports related to civil and structural engineering activities.
9. Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and technical discussions to communicate project status and address engineering challenges.

Additional Skills:

1. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC, IS) related to civil and structural engineering.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
5. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
