Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 2 to 5 years in Industry experience, preferably in sectors like Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas plants.

Software Proficiency: Proficient in ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and E3D for design and analysis purposes


  1. Create and maintain accurate electrical load lists for projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency and hands-on experience in ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and E3D software for electrical design and analysis tasks.
  3. Develop comprehensive protection schemes, single-line diagrams, and substation layouts to ensure efficient and reliable power distribution systems.
  4. Design cable trench/tray routing, earthing systems, and lighting layouts for optimal functionality and safety within plant areas.
  5. Utilize AGI 32, Luxicon, and industry best practices to perform lighting illumination calculations and provide guidance on lighting schemes and controls.
  6. Conduct bulk estimation and prepare Material Take Off (MTO) for power, lighting, and earthing systems. Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Data Sheets as required.
  7. Prepare Technical Bid Evaluation reports and review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
  8. Guide designers in 3D modeling and 2D drafting, coordinating with other disciplines to integrate electrical designs seamlessly.
  9. Demonstrate expertise in 2D CAD tools like AutoCAD and MicroStation, as well as 3D model review software such as SPR and Navisworks.
  10. Ensure all design deliverables comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and project requirements.
  11. Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines, conduct thorough document checks, and review drawings before release to maintain quality and accuracy.
  12. Assist the lead engineer in work planning, progress monitoring, and ensuring adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
