Instrumentation Design Engineer

Position: Instrumentation Design Engineer

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. (Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering)

Experience: 4 to 8 years in Industry experience (Fertilizer/Petrochemical/oil and gas plants)

Job Description:

• Thorough knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems.
• Implements instrument detail design on P&ID’s and prepares instrumentation design basis.
• Preparation of Instrument Index and Instrument Specifications.
• Preparation of Instrument Data Sheets and Loop diagrams.
• Preparation of Hookups, Junction Box Wiring drawings.
• Preparation of IO List, Alarm’s List, CBD, Cable Schedule.
• Preparation of Cable tray layout, Instruments location layout, Typical Instrument Installation layout.
• Preparation of Air Header schedule and layout drawings.
• Preparation of Material requisition, TBE, bulk items MTO.
• Vendor discussion for technical clarification and prepare technical evaluation report.
• Knowledge on PLC/DCS/SCADA/HMI is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Thermowell sizing, Orifice sizing and Control Sizing is an addedAdvantage.
• Should have experience on software’s like AutoCAD, SPI – IN Tools, Aveva Inst Module, E3D.
• Ensure preparation of design deliverables with due consideration for applicable Codes & Standards.
• Ensure prompt Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines.
• Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any revision status.
• Assist lead in work planning, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
• Assist Lead Engineer in all departmental functions
