Overview: We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer specializing in Rotating Equipment to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment), you will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of rotating machinery within our organization. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation and reliability of our rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize your experience and knowledge of rotating equipment, such as compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers, etc., to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.
2. Apply your understanding of rotating equipment Codes and Standards, particularly API standards, to ensure compliance and adherence to industry regulations.
3. Take responsibility for the preparation of Mechanical Data sheets, Specifications, and sketch drawings for rotating equipment.
4. Verify documents and drawings, participate in interface studies with other disciplines, and contribute to vendor meetings to facilitate effective project coordination.
5. Utilize your hands-on experience with CAD Tools such as Ansys and AutoCAD to support the design and analysis of rotating equipment.
6. Prepare Material Requisitions and perform technical bid evaluations for procuring rotating equipment.
7. Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech.).
2. 3 to 8 years of industry experience in the Fertilizer, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas plants sector.
3. Expertise and knowledge in a variety of rotating equipment, including compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers, etc.
4. Familiarity with rotating equipment Codes and Standards, particularly API standards.
5. Proficiency in the preparation of Mechanical Data sheets, Specifications, and sketch drawings.
6. Ability to verify documents and drawings, participate in interface studies, and engage in vendor meetings.
7. Hands-on experience with CAD Tools such as Ansys and AutoCAD.
8. Strong skills in Material Requisitions preparation and technical bid evaluation.
9. Excellent attention to detail and ability to review vendor documents effectively.
